Only performers who are legal residents of the U.S. States and the District of Columbia are eligible to audition. You must be over 13 years old to audition. If you are a minor 14 or over, a parent or legal guardian must provide a signed authorization for you to audition. Learn more
You have a few options on how to deliver your video.
Option 1. Do you have a YouTube or Vimeo account? Send us a link to the video through the submission form; or
Option 2. Share a video on Facebook with our Doo Wop Star Facebook page.
Use just one of the options above to send us your audition video.
Copy and paste the video link and add it to the submission form. On YouTube and Vimeo, select “SHARE” from below your video. A window pops up with a link. Please enter the link as shown below.
Due to the volume of audition videos being submitted, we will only communicate with those selected.
If you cannot send us your audition video electronically, you may send a DVD to:

Attention: Next Doo Wop Star
Performances must be presented on video; no audio-only submissions will be accepted.
There is no fee to audition and if you are selected, we will pay basic travel and lodging expenses.
If we choose to include your performance in a television program or a video that we distribute, you will get the attendant publicity, which we hope will advance the cause of Doo Wop and perhaps of your career, and if we use that performance for any commercial purpose you will receive a talent fee.
All eligible audition videos submitted will be reviewed by one or more judges who are knowledgeable about Doo Wop music, based on the overall quality of your vocal performance, faithfulness to the Doo Wop tradition, and choreography and costume.
We allow only one audition per group and no person may be a part of more than one group submitting an audition tape. Any additional audition videos will be void.
